White Clouds Island
© 2012 PAVEL HRUBES STUDIO
The White clouds island album, which name is the English version of the native name of New Zealand, Aoteoraea, describes a trip to the coast. When we miss sun, which happens often in winter months, and we miss it so much that we are prepared to travel very far, even the half of the World, then we do not mind sitting on a plane for twenty four hours. New Zealand is simply paradise on Earth. Everyday look at the dark blue sky, bright with sun shine, fresh green peaks and crystal clear sea fill even the grumpiest person with positive energy. The tracks are full of admiration for the perfect nature
Individual tracks:
The massif of high mountains seizes you every day, large steppe and picturesque bays complement the great image of nature of New Zealand; that is how we could characterize the first track Koamaru Sound. The second track Opotiky, pulsing with energy, is actually an excursion to the native inhabitants. Jack Up (6.) and Overturn (8.) sound very similar. Art Deco architecture influenced the ornamental structure of Gisborne (9.). It is a stylized description of a town built in the 40s. The curative and airy track Oxygenese (12.) expresses warm springs bubbling out of the Earth. Through Earth (13.) is very dynamic and ethereal and pompous track imitating a trip through the middle of Earth. Whangarei (4.) is an ethnic description of a vital river. The most touching and the most picturesque track Westport (7.) sounds like a romantic story about sailors and explorers. The rest, Keen Eye (3.), Orewa Valey (10.) and Maze (11.) can be sorted into meditative category.
Favorite tracks: 7., 3., 13.
